This is a bit of a departure from the heavier stuff I normally write and is more of a rock/blues vibe. I wanted to try something different and really like the way it turned out. I wrote this song as I was thinking about how crazy this year has been for everyone and how it seems like there is just one thing after another. The title "A Rain is Comin'" came to me when I was picturing this old man just knowing it is going to rain because he has been around so long that he can just feel it. He has this sixth sense about things. This song is about everyone feeling like that next thing coming and just trying to take it all in stride and prepare for it as best as you can until things eventually get better.
