I think I wrote this one after seeing the movie "The Firm". I got to thinking about a situation where someone works for a big company but they are not part of the "in crowd". So they go to work everyday and these other workers talk behind their back, don't promote them, etc. and it is like these people are snakes. Just trying to break that person down and get them to leave or quit or conform...which they'll never do.
