My family has always believed that when people pass away, their spirit still communicates with loved ones by showing "signs" in the form of objects, songs, etc. to let us know they are still with us. My Mom has always seen dimes as one of those symbols. This past year, my grandmother and uncle both passed away within a month of each other. It was a very difficult time for my family. During the holidays, several of us started seeing dimes appear. I had never experienced this myself but on three occasions, found dimes appearing at places that really didn't make much sense. We would laugh about finding dimes and it really gave us comfort knowing that they may have moved on but will always send reminders to let us know they are still with us in some way. This song is about keeping those people in your hearts forever and looking for the reminders.
